which hunter stats should I max out?
I am wondering what are the 3 main stats I should be focusing on as a hunter?

I know recovery and mobility are very important.

But what should the 3rd 100 stat be? Discipline, strength, intellect?

Discipline was a consideration but I usually run double bombers and with a low dodge CD, gaining grenade energy is really fast.

Intellect helps with super but my neutral game is my strongest aspect, not so much the super.

This leaves me with strength but I was never really a fan of hunter's melee abilities (smoke bomb etc)

what do you guys think should be the 3rd 100 stat i should aim for?

Solar and void melee's are useless imo, for arc you can have infinite melee anyway so it doesn't even matter, grenades are also not a priority on hunters, most of their grenades are outclassed by warlock's and titan grenades because of the ammount of exotics and supers that synergise with them, imo you should just go for intellect, bottom tree golden gun, top tree void and mid tree arcstrider (this one is for pvp since it counters a lot of supers) are very useful in any pve scenario

I personally try to max out Mobility, Recovery, and Intellect. Strength is something you can pretty much ignore. Discipline and Resilience are something you should have a good amount in.

Depends on your build and what you want to do.

Strength/discipline/intellect are all useful for different things.. Try getting 50-60 resilience, anything above 60 is a waste.. I'd say that intellect probably overall is worth it going for out of the 3.

Oh and btw, if there's a person going to reply here called 'Feline' than try not taking his advice since he doesn't even know how the game works after his so called 5k-7k hours'.

depends on the build you want and whether it's pve/pvp. mobility and recovery should be as high as you can. mobility dictates your dodge cooldown, and you want your dodge as often as possible in both pve/pvp.

resilience doesn't matter for pve outside of master/gm/contest content and it's actually the worst stat to focus on due to it's diminishing returns at higher tiers same with intellect, which also isn't necessary to spec into in pve.

discipline and strength if you have a specific build catered towards them.

I always go for Mobility (gotta get that 9 sec dodge), Recovery (obviously), and Melee (void hunter main). I just love smoke bombs I guess. Haven't been able to get stat rolls that gets my third skill to 100 yet, though. Most of my other stats are 30-50. My resilience is only 10, though, as for some reason I am always unlucky with armour stat rolls.

Dodge cooldown got nerfed a while back, its now 11sec at 100 mobility.

But yeah, typical hunter stats are mobility, recovery, intellect. Like most people have said, having 5 or more resilience is just enough to change some kill-conditions in crucible (for example changing it from 1 headshot and 2 bodyshots from a 120 handcannon to 2 headshots and 1 body)

My current loadout is 100 in mobility, recovery, intellect, and and 20 resilience, 10 discipline, 60 strength (mostly cause stasis aspect + charge with light mod) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2508671029

Oops meant 11 sec. That 9 sec is really hardcoded into my brain.
The +20 mobil and +20 strenght mods rly help in getting those two up to 100.

It's worth remembering that perks like demolitionist/wellspring/thresh scale with your stats, so even if they don't benefit your base cooldowns that much you will definitely feel the benefit when using weapons with those perks.
