Question about Altars of Sorrow

I've had maybe a half dozen masterworked shotguns drop from this event over the time I've been here but never a masterworked sniper rifle or rocket launcher. To be honest I neither want nor need the weapons, I'm just curious as to whether they drop or not?

I think the weapon it drops changes daily, Today in Destiny[www.todayindestiny.com] will tell you which one it should drop.
