Sweet Business I would argue is superior in the case that Tommy's Matchbook will essentially drain your health to half when using consistent fire.. yes, there is a higher damage increase, but it does require closer range, of which combined with your sacrificed health could be.. but at most, you barely get 1K of extra damage with the standard 1.2K or so.
Sweet Business will generally deal 900-950 non-crit and 1K/1.2K crit per bullet, combined with roughly 1,050 ammo overall in the weapon, it can deliver what is essentially a powerhouse of damage over several seconds. Players rarely use it because they generally want something that kills instantly, ie, a shotgun. But the Sweet Business' maximum rate of fire that becomes something like 360 to 950 when fully revved, will utterly MELT any Guardian who stays at least two to a single SECOND in your sights. In fact, a youtuber did some testing and it takes under a second almost.
Not to mention the Sweet Business will automatically reload and refill upon picking up a Primary ammo block. However, Sweet Business is something that combines with specific things, and main something that is the Titan with Actium War-Rig. You will get somewhat to 15 bullets trickling back into your Sweet Business every second, elongating the gun's firing time to what is essentially a good two minutes or so, or even three.
With catalysts, Sweet Business will generate orbs on kill, and get a new perk: Serious Business. When the weapon is fully spun up, you take notably less flinch damage.
For Tommy's Matchbook, it simply makes it so you regenerate health faster when, 'Ignition Trigger', is active. Basically, it's sustained fire. HOWEVER, I tried it with a low recovery Titan, and it almost has NO boost if you have low recovery, as the Ignition-Trigger after stopping fire will last for roughly a second to half a second.. from what I noticed, anyway.
So I would definitely suggest Sweet Business all around. Use Tommy's Matchbook if you want, but you should try to make sure you cover your to-be-gone health via Warlock healing rifts or healing abilities and Titan overshields.
EDIT: Bottom Tree Arc or Bottom Tree Solar Titans work well with the Sweet Business/Actium combination that I call the, 'Gunner', playstyle. You gain a damage buff via the bottom arc melee, or the bottom tree solar's Sunspot, which can put your Sweet Business up to a standard of 2K/2.4K per hit, roughly around those lines. Also, if you can, have a Warlock friend to place Ward of Dawn or Empowering Rift, or Noble Rounds from Lumina, the damage buff for Sweet Business inside those boosts becomes insane with the consistent damage.
also is tommy better pvp or pve?
what other exotic is as good as sweet business if not better? that you can keep firing ...tho ther is suro with actium rig
To be honest, comparing Sweet Business is more so going to be like a question, "Do I want consistent damage or fire, or use weapons that operate more differently, such as instantaneous damage?" Jotunn is a good example of this. It's a Fusion Rifle that shoots a powerful, miniature rocket that tracks targets and explodes when hitting them. It can be deadly, one-shot Guardians almost no matter how much overshield they have, and can be rather powerful for, 'consistent but delayed', damage.
Unfortunately, you can only get 20/22 ammo max for Jotunn at one time. Jotunn is also a Special Energy weapon. There's Xenophage as well, but that's Heavy, and it has it's own way of working.
i mean bad juju seems like a next on my list, since it will be an upgrade from huckleberry
but for the sake of exotics that shoot alot what other ones are good, cuz there is suro but im not sure if its even good?
There's also Riskrunner, Hard Light, Heir Apparent. A bunch of rapid-fire based weaponry.
