Weird Clothing glitch

Now, i'm pretty sure everyone is aware of the weird glitch in Destiny 2 where Hunter capes and Warlock robes can freak the hell out and break reality, but for some reason, I'm getting that to the max. Literally every article of clothing in the game for me (even NPC's like Rahool and Zavala) are breaking the universe, and this glitch just suddenly happened after I logged into the game one day when it was perfectly fine the day before. At first I thought it was just a one time thing and I turned the game off and went back in again, but the bug hadn't resided and my Warlock's cloak was still freaking out in the character selection screen. I tried it again, and when it didn't work after the 3rd time, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it to see if it would work (which is didn't). I even changed the DVI cord that connected my PC to my monitor multiple times, which didn't change anything, and I even changed the DVI cord to an HDMI one in hopes it would do something (since I've always had a DVI cord) but that didn't do anything either. I've changed lighting, graphics quality, window size, resolution, all that crap and it still hasn't fixed the problem.

Has anyone experienced this problem before and could potentially give some insight? This has never happened to me before on my PC (which is strong enough to run the game smoothly on medium graphics) and the game is unplayable since I can't walk anywhere without a cape or some ♥♥♥♥ flying across the game and making my game lag-spike and potentially crash.

i guess making the cloth can flow normally in air is very difficult so their physics engine has some bug regard to this?i just heard from somewhere that the cloth behind superman takes a lot money to CG,so i guess thats also the case to bungie?

Ok, thanks for the answers. I guess I'll just cross my fingers and hope that it'll eventually fix itself so I can go back to playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
