How to tell if gear can be reacquired from collections

There used to a warning before dismantling but it looks like it has been removed? I really dont want to spend hours going back and forth to check on a 3rd party site or hunting the item from collections to see if I can reobtain it.

Exotic weapons can be reaquired from collections, be careful when deleting dead man tale's and hawmoon's since those have random rolls, but overall all weapons that are currently available cannot be acquired from collections

Exotic weapons can be reacquired,
Exotic armour can, but at a low stat total,
Pinnacle and ritual weapons have fixed rolls, and can be reacquired,
Year 1 weapons, most Y1 armour, and all blue/green/white rarity gear have fixed rolls, these can be reacquired but there is not much reason to.

If it's not any of the above, then it has random perks (Y2-Y4 weapons, Y2 armour), random stats (Y3-Y4 armour) and therefore can't be reacquired. This will be like 98% of gear you obtain.

At the very start of the following video look below the light level, "Random perks: This item cannot be reacquired from Collections."

Oh I thought you meant a popup or something, gotcha!
It's pretty much redundant these days as there's only a handful of non-exotic, non-pinnacle gear that can be reacquired.

Anything that has random rolls on it can't be re-acquired.

Basically, that means that Exotics, blue gear, and curated Legendary gear can be re-acquired, but not much else.
