I broke the Aspect Of Influence Quest

I need some help!
I started the quest and go to the point where you have to shoot the Entropic Shard but I forgot to bring Salvation's Grip with me, so I went back to the tower to get it from the vault and when I came back the shard was gone.
I tried to abandon the quest and get it back, but the shards still wont show up...

Hi I have a similar Issue. I abandon the quest and now I cant even get the quest again..
Did you find a solution for your problem?

Try dropping the quest, And picking it up again after the weekly reset on tuesday.

Also for future reference: use DIM (destinyitemmanager.com) to manage inventory in destiny2. You never have to go to tower to access vault.

was there ever a fix to this? im having the same issue and cant seem to fix it. dont even have salvations grip but cant accept the quest because it says i already have it despite it being abandoned

Go to the tower and get it from the quest archive thing. It's tucked in near the postmaster.

This fixed it for me. I reacquired the quest and then was able to complete it.
