game freezing at specific spot

I'm trying to complete a wrathborn hunt that's at jetsam of saturn on tangled shore, but every time i go to the area my game freezes and crashes, usually right when i shoot my gun

It's happened 4 times now under the same exact conditions, ive verified the game files, reset my shader cache, made sure my GPU drivers are up to date, I'm at a loss for what to do, would appreciate any help please

I'm getting freezes randomly on wrathborn hunts as well. Not specifically with your situation, just freezes every now and then. Never happened before.

im having the same issue in a quest on the cosmodrome... impossible to complete the new light campaign mission (part 7) cold boot

Same issue too. My game freezes in EDZ right before The Drain. I have to see if the freezes somewhere else too.

Having the same issue on the Tangled shore same spot. Went to a different location no crashes played for a good few hours went back to the Tangled Shore game crashed same spot Not sure whats going on

My game just crashes at jetsam of saturn, im trying to do some bountys and as soon as i go to that area my game freezes and crash.

Same crash on Jetsam of Saturn. Either approach (from Sorik's Cut or Thieves' Landing) does the same thing. I didn't buy the last Season, so it's definitely a problem with the map and not the Wrathborn Hunts.

Yeah, apparently bungie is looking into the crashing issues and will make a hotfix sooner or later. But seriously wtf lol, is there any quality control at bungie?

Same thing here, that's what led me to the forums. Jetsam of Saturn. Freeze then crash to desktop.

Same thing. I crash every time at Jetsam. Everything else is fine.

Me and a friend are trying to get to the Lost Sector in Jetsam and it always crashes when we enter the zone, no matter which way you come from.

Still? Did you install the hotfix? Worked for me.

It has to be on their part, because I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still does it.
