Does Light Level matter in gambit now after beyond light?
Hi guys, I played destiny when new light launched but stopped after getting max light level back then. My friends are inviting me to play together again.

But obviously now my Light Level gear is so low and outdated so I can't raid again with them now. But can I at least play gambit together with my low light level? Or will I get totally destroyed by mobs and Invaders with low Light Level?

Edit: Oh also does LL matter in PvP aspect of the game like crucible or it is matters only in trials of osiris and iron banner?

light only matters when invading or being invaded, you'll be fine against ads, but other players might destroy you. however... pretty much all invaders use Xenophage anyway which 2 taps anybody, so doesn't even matter tbh

like the guy above me said youll be good against the adds not the players tho but use a sniper or yea xenophage or even truth or wardcliff. any should do
