Black screen and crash loading into Cosmodrome.
Just downloaded the game and started the first mission, upon getting to the point in the mission where you meet another guardian and help him with a mission, it crashes.

Right as the cut-scene ended the screen faded to black and the game crashed without an error code. I relaunched and was able to load into the destinations menu, I selected the Cosmodrome to continue the mission and unlock access the other destinations, faded to black and crashed again. I tried validating local files, nothing needed to be fixed. Kinda annoying. I saw, whilst looking through forums to fix this, that someone said the game is just broken right now and to wait for a patch. If that's the case then ♥♥♥♥. Bungie fix this.

As for my system, games don't tend to crash on me often unless it's my fault. (modding, etc.) My full spec list is in my steam bio if you care enough but here's the important stuff i guess.

cpu: Ryzen 7 1800x
gpu: asus rtx 2070 super
memory: corsair 16gb 3200mhz ddr4
mobo: msi x470

Hopefully this gets fixed soon or I can find a fix for myself, I've seen other people having similar issues so this might be a larger than my gpu drivers or something. As of now I'm locked out of the game, might plug in the old 360 and see if the destiny 1 servers are still up.
Bungie plz fix.

Hello. Next time your game crashes, could you paste your DxDiag here?

You can find this by doing the following:
• Press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box and enter the command “dxdiag”.
• Click on “Save all information”.
• Copy the text and use a text dump website (i.e. pastebin.com) to paste the information.
• Create a link and post it here.

Allo there,

For those experiencing crashes while using a Nvidia GPU, try disabling your shader cache either globally or for Destiny 2 only.
