Destiny 2
Will Bungie bring back past Planets (Titan, Io,Mercury, Mars)
The main reason they got rid of these planets, was due to server space, or over loading their servers. So when will Bungie just grow their company bigger, to sustain Destiny 2?

They should just make Destiny 2 like ESO in my opinion, its just a fact tho really.

They got rid of that stuff for a lot of reasons. Mostly I suspect, because it was old code.

Their plan is to cycle content on a roughly annual basis (basically, each time they release a new Expansion). Some older content will be "vaulted", some entirely new content will be added, and some older, refurbished content may, or may not be re-introduced.

I suspect that Mars, Mercury, Titan, and Io may EVENTUALLY come back, but when they do, I suspect they'll have entirely new quests (and they probably won't all come back at once).

I want all of mars back. Make mars like Earth with two zones, Warmind and D1
The game became quite large so they took things out to reduce load times is my guess. Anyone who has a Cross Save account has probably noticed this too, but as for me I notice a night and day difference in load times on my PlayStation 4 compared to my PC. My PS take 3 or 4 times the amount of time to load into anywhere or activities let alone the game. Besides the only thing I really used the other locations for was for bounty grinding for EXP. Other then that they served no real purpose for me. But back to the load times on the PC it was a non issue for me. And it is even faster since they took out all of that content. Then again I have had a lot of that since it first came out on the PS4.

Not really. It's more due to players' storage space. Not everyone can have unlimited storage space on their computers or consoles. Even Call of Duty has had to downsize their game when it became so large that players were running out of hard drive space.

If that was true reason, they could have made them optional, like current Call of Duty did.

No, real reason is, they would provide unwelcomne competition to new DLC and many would just spend time in old content ignoring Europa. (Also it was good evidence of big WTFs in their code, so they jsut tried to sweep it under the carpet. And it didn't even work...)

they're vaulted but we all know that they are staying gone

No they aren't. Nessus was vaulted, now it's back for the season. Once Nessus is out of rotation I suspect Io will return but considering VoG comes soon enough in the next season Venus would come back from D1 even if just for the raid and surrounding area, not a full zone.
The really main reason was, if they added 2 more planets in the future it would be too much, so they took those 4 out for now.. at least it seems so.

Same with sunsetting, they removed really old stuff to certain point, then they will remove the cap again.

But Imo sunsetting Nightmare weapons was a really dumb idea, that lectern thingy..

IIRC they vaulted only Mars, Mercury and Io. Nessus is not on rotation. (If you know otherwise, post your sources)

Sunsetting was never about removing stuff, for space or similar reason because weapons and armor are still in the game. (I got vast majority of guns still in vault...)
The purpose of sunsetting was to "shift the meta". As per the TWAB articles on the subject:

https://www.bungie.net/en-us/news

Understand: Shifting the meta is a constant concern for gaming venues like Destiny 2. Sunsetting was a "hard" shift. But just because they've gotten rid of sunsetting doesn't mean they won't pivot to a "soft" form of meta shifting instead.

Variety is important, changing the meta from season to season is something that most games of this type try to do.
i just want the weapons. lol
