Their plan is to cycle content on a roughly annual basis (basically, each time they release a new Expansion). Some older content will be "vaulted", some entirely new content will be added, and some older, refurbished content may, or may not be re-introduced.
I suspect that Mars, Mercury, Titan, and Io may EVENTUALLY come back, but when they do, I suspect they'll have entirely new quests (and they probably won't all come back at once).
I'd really want Titan back. Though having any of them back and overhauled in some way with new things to experience would be great too.
I miss Mars too. I liked Escalation Protocol. It was just there. You'd go to Mars, planning on doing a few bounties, and lots of times, there'd be an EP running that you could just join.
The Blind Well is supposed to be the same kind of event, but ... it just doesn't have the same feel as EP did.
Io was pretty, but always felt a bit under-utilized to me.
Mercury was too small. Infinite Forest notwithstanding.
Mercury background have a lot as well. Dungeon activties aren't so bad and they certainly do make this game fun even to solo players.
About IO only enjoyed the soundtrack.
I would have loved to have had a chance to explore more of "Golden Age" Mercury, I really liked the little glimpses that came during the strikes. There was all kinds of cool looking stuff that you got to see, ever so briefly, during strikes that just wasn't there, it was really disappointing.
The whole environment offered some really cool sets that just never got used during the regular visits. It would have been fun fighting down and through those deep canals, and then back up on the top. Lots of potential variation and 3D zones.
But .. instead we got a little tiny circle around the Light House.
