Aspect of control quest

I just started playing again after beyond light first came out and im trying to get my aspects but im stuck on the aspect of control mission. Says to speak with drifter and complete the "Stasis prototype" to acquire the salvations grip, but i already have it? and drifter has nothing to complete. very confused.

if you have the Stasis Grenade Launcher, then the next step is to go hunt down the Entropic Shards on Europa.

Uh yeah that sounds confusing, have you tried chasing down the shards and shooting them with the grenade launcher?. Or talked to the stranger?, just spit balling here in a vain attempt to be helpful..
