Complete 8 Bounties
Can you only do this on one character? I just completed 8 gunsmith and vanguard bounties with my 2nd titan but when I went to accept rewards the menu closed with nothing. Yes I check postmaster.

But yeah, not much point in having two Titans these days.

Weekly challenge and pinnacle rewards are one per character class per week. There is no benefit to be gained by having two Titans, but the challenges can be done on all three characters if they are all different classes.

Wow. So that's new since I last played. So there's absolutely no reason to have a dupe anymore? (Edit) Raids?

I don't think there ever was a reason? Or maybe it only became a thing when challenges were introduced.

Raid loot including secret chests and boss exotics are also on a per class per week lockout. Did you play back when a bunch of raids were about to be vaulted and their loot was uncapped? You would have got the same effect by just using the same Titan each time though.

Back when I played you could do everything on each character without limitations. All I can remember is I was farming calus for shaders (before they were unlimited use)

If by last played you mean never played then yes. challenges have been once per week per class ever since Destiny 2 launched. What you be remembering is that with the old UI where they were in the op-out menu on the left of the director they'd still show up on characters that couldn't actually get the rewards.

Yes pre-forsaken. I found some old reddit threads discussing the same thing and I gues that's around when it changed ( I saw mention of new light, so could've been around then )

Forum reply from one of the community managers about two weeks after the game released stating that you don't get powerfuls on multiple characters of the same class. This was also announced prior to launch in a TWAB or some other update post but I'ms till trying to dig up the link for that one.
