Also Destiny Community: Ewww anti cheat isn't optional????
I did, it crashed for the VERY first time, EVER.
when it was on Battle.NET....didn't crash EVER...disconnects sure...it is Bungie servers after all, then when they moved to steam......no crashes....disconnections though...as i said, Bungie servers after all.
So, the only logical possibility is that it was the Anti-Cheat Software......just saying.
I mean i play Division 2 and that uses Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) and it doesn't crash or slow down the game at all, especially after i found out the install was corrupted and did a reinstall of the Easy Anti-Cheat software, after that it runs flawlessly.
Maybe the install of this anti-cheat spyware is corrupted and might need reinstalling.
I don't like it either due to me spending a majority of my time on linux so seeing this honestly made me sad (i dual boot just to play this and two other games from time to time)
Not everyone is a cheater if they don't like anticheat man
EAC is trash compared to Battle Eye. Battle Eye actually bans people in Siege more effectively on its own than Massive ever has done by hand. Div 1 never had anti cheat and Div 2's was some cobbled up hunk of ass
Well, clearly a LOT of people have been cheating, and now they can't. ;)
Personally, I'm finding all the cheater tears pretty amusing.
