No one cares what you do when you're playing a single-player game, but CE is going to be a huge red flag if it's active when you're playing Destiny 2.
Personally, I'd suggest removing it from your system.
Frankly, not being able to play D2 in the future isn't a big deal for me. The game has become more and more of a chore to play in the last year and the Infinite Grind is starting to get on my nerves. So, I'd rather have CE installed and be able to use it with other games than play Destiny 2.
I'm hoping, though, that that won't be the case. I'd prefer to keep it installed if I can.
But ... CE will raise a red flag for the VAC system (if it's active) so I'm sure it'll do that for Battleye too.
AFAIK the VAC system won't care if it's INactive, but I don't know about Battleye.
I think the closest is valorant, however that doesn't ban you for software that is (intentionally or unintentionally) exploitable for cheating unless the software is running when you are trying to play the game, not any other time.
Cheers, I'll do that.
I would *hope* this is case, as it would actually be reasonable. Not about to risk it, of course.
In singleplayer games we are allowed to do what we want because it only affects one person, the one who is playing. In MP it affects others. Thats why a majority of people use console commands in Fallout and Skyrim because Todd's not gonna kick down the door to stick a shotgun up your ass. Cheat engine is just the name for it but there's many other versions like trainers that do the same as CE but easier for normal users
Aslong as its for SP it should be fine regardless, BE only detects stuff running during gameplay as far as i know. I have WeMod installed (collection of trainers i mainly use for CP2077) and nothing really happened.
Re: My initial reply to your first comment, check out these idiots:
See? People are literally incapable of A) Separating the two concepts or B) Minding their own business ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
What a horrible world.
