What do I need to buy to be completely current?

As the title says, I'm thinking about returning. I own up through Shadowkeep. What do I need to purchase to be "up to date"? Do I have to buy Beyond Light or just the new expansion?

If you mean the Witch Queen with "the new expansion", then no, you don´t need this right now as it is released at 22 feb 22.
If you have Forsaken and Shadowkeep, you need Beyond Light deluxe edition to get everything that is in the game right now.

If you have Forsaken and Shadowkeep, the Deluxe has Beyond Light and all four season, that would be all of it.

Thanks for the reply. Do I need to buy Beyond Light at this point? Or if I buy (preorder) the new expansion, does that include everything previous also? I guess is the Beyond Light stuff from last year still relevant?

If you want Beyond Light, you have to buy it. The pre-order for the Witch Queen doesn't include Beyond light.
