What is up with sunsetting?

Many weapons (That you can still obtain) are sunset, Hell, even drifter's selling a gun right in the front of his inventory that's already sunset, Why are so many weapons being sunset just to force people to use different weapons?

Hold you laughter until after I explain, but I Really enjoyed the Bow that you get from the forsaken campaign with the explosive head, It's one of the few bows in the game that can be easily obtained that can still roll with explosive head, and suddenly, It's sunset why?

I'm baffled as to why weapons that are still obtainable are sunset, I've heard that this *may* change in the future.

Short version is if you can still get it, there is zero reason it should be sunset.

If people want to they should be allowed to. If weapons are unbalanced then they should be balanced, not taken out.

you can still use sunset weapons, they weren't banned or deleted. patrol zones, strikes, dungeons, crucible etc don't have light level restrictions, so you can use whatever. it's only really nightfalls, iron banner, trials and the new raid where light matters and even then you can use one sunset weapon and still be over the required level.

No, there will be no change, that would be too good. Apart from that, I have several bows which have two or more seasons left with "Explosive Head".

No, there will be no change, that would be too good. Apart from that, I have several bows which have two or more seasons left with "Explosive Head".

Wrong buddy. Bungie said that the sunsetted content will return. They will polish certain things and they dont know WHEN these contents will come back but they are not gone forever. Maybe they will return in 2022 whith the last known dlc, which is i think the climax of the darkness story. We will return to those locations that the darkness consumed and there will be darkness infsued enemys etc. Maybe even the old raids with new encounters. But they will come back.

They have said lot of things that never happened so I wouldn't put my money on that horse. Why are they still 1060 trash in the moon? They could have replaced them with new armor and guns. Idiots.
