55g install
The 55 giga size install is this the new Beyond light game or later will download more? i dont have a lot of space in my ssd for more lol.

That update is most likely the update for Beyond Light - after the update login screen has changed to Beyond Light -themed.

I personally just uninstalled the game, and installed it fresh - now taking 56.5 GB instead of previous 93 GB or so. So my tiny SSD is happy about this.

The Destiny 2 Beyond Light file size for PS4 and Xbox One is 70.78 GB and 65.7 GB respectively, and it's 69.7 GB for PC. Bungie additionally notes that PS4 and PC players will require 171.68 GB and 186.2 GB of storage space for installation.

Yes this update includes beyond light. Beyond light adds content to the base game, you purchase the dlc to just have access to it.

Install size will vary depending on language packs that you use. Just the one pack will give you an install of about 50gb but can vary to a max of about 70gb.

The update downloads and then after it is done downloading it deletes most of the current install and unpacks in its place. So the full process if you keep your current install will require ~185 GB of space but after the download & unpack is finished the game will only use ~55GB.

It's 55gb for now, but it will most likely get bigger when new content is added in the future.

Why they can't delete the old stuff before commencing the download is 'beyond' me. Had to temporarily move out 50 gigs to a backup drive.
