what is the triumph score for?

Found it on Reddit.

So, triumphs are basically bragging points and incentives to fully explore and experience the entire game.

You get objectives that you can complete (triumphs) and when you do, you get points toward an achievement score essentially.

As to what you get for completing them, you can get titles above your name that other people will be able to see in game, as well as things that bungie will hand out called bungie rewards.

Currently, there is a triumph for beating the forsaken campaign and the reward is to get the forsaken and whisper of the worm soundtrack for free.
