Interesting, I did as you said and it's not showing that it is purchased. I have the receipt from steam for the Legendary bundle buy, and the two refunds for the other bundles, I initially bought, but they weren't working as well. My husband is going downstairs to check on his pc right now. So maybe I just have to wait until Monday decides to show up before it goes through?
So, The DLC files are there, but they are not installing. That's why we can't play. I have gone through every thing I can find on installing DLC's through steam and nothing has worked. When you right click on the game, and then choose properties, on the DLC menu it just shows the boxes checked for "install" but aren't actually installing. Is that what it is showing for you as well?
edit: i do not own beyond light, but i am able to land on europa and do things there.
there are some threads around here about not beeing able to land on certain destinations, seems that it has nothing to do with your purchase but rather a bigger issue with the client for some people.
It's crazy, I have bought the D2 legendary bundle, receipt from steam and it's gone through on my CC. Yet, it still tells me that I do not own it. I have figured out that the DLC is not installing automatically for some reason. It shows that it is checked for install, but not actually installing. I have verified my files, logged out, back in and then restarted my pc. It's a new pc and there is no issue with my ram/HD or storage. I own ARK and have never had issues with it downloading any of the DLC's, or any other game. I can't even land on the Tower or the moon, nothing aside from the Russian part, I've done 2 parts of the that campaign starting with Shaw. But that's it. I can't even join my husbands fireteam, says I don't have permission. We do not game share, and we each have our own pc's. We have the exact same PC, yet he had no issues at all. I'm literally about to rip my hair out trying to fix this.
Oh, I have done that about 6-7 times now. My husband checked his Bungie account and it didn't show up on his either. I have no idea what else to do. I have emailed Steam and Bungie Support. Now, just waiting for them to reply. I'm at my 2 hour mark for D2, and don't want to try it anymore until I get an answer. I just don't understand why it's not downloading the DLC's. It has always been automatic for my other games.

you do NOT have to install any dlc, they are already installed all with the destiny 2 client on your pc. like i said, i have not bought beyond light but it is already installed on my pc and i can land on europa and roam around despite not having bought or installed it.
like others have said, maybe finish that introductionary quest in the cosmodrome that leads to the tower eventually.
i do not know if bungie allows the new light intro "campaign" (that short introduction mission from shaw) to be played in a fireteam, so your best bet is to finish that, it will lead you to the tower when the game starts properly.
