constant disconnects..how do i fix?
constant disconects return to orbit bs ..cant progress in main story ..same ♥♥♥♥ every time.. i recently did a speed test and my results are this.

Not very good speeds there at all. All of my issues went away when I got 1gb fiber. I had the same speeds as you before and this game was a nightmare trying to play any pvp and I'd get disconnected in raids too which was frustrating.

Not very good speeds there at all. All of my issues went away when I got 1gb fiber. I had the same speeds as you before and this game was a nightmare trying to play any pvp and I'd get disconnected in raids too which was frustrating.

ok so getting 1gb fiber is the fix then?

Are you wired or wireless? The download speed would probably be okay if you were the only device using bandwidth on the network. Your upload speed does seem to be to low. How are you getting internet?

I'm using an Ethernet connection and my internet is through a provider.

Ok. Are you getting any error codes? I would try resetting the your router and see if that helps.

Do you live in a remote area? You could ask your provider if they have a slightly higher bandwidth plan. You don't need 1 Gig fiber but a bit more than what you have right now will probably solve a lot of your connection issues.

As others have mentioned, those speeds are quite low - I imagine it must have taken quite some time to download the game!

no errors with any code. just disconnects "you have been disconnected from the destiny 2 servers" i know it happens beacsue it will load into an area and there will be no enemis and after a while it boots me back to the orbit menu...it so annoying. I have tried reseting router all that crap and nothing works. so it must be down to the connection..fact is i dont get any issues playing any other online games ..this is the only one.

I live in London Uk and its supposed to be an 8mb connection. it took me about 2 days to download the game. before half the content was removed. i recenlty downloaded doom eternal and thats taken 1 day and a bit.

thing is its been like this for me from day one of getting this game..and i got it with the release of shadow keep. just about managed to finish the red war campain..but the osyris one is were it became imposible to get any further as it got to a point were i could no longer progress in the story at all..cuz no checkpoint and the disconnect resets the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission. i recently came back to it and tried playing forsaken..and same exact problem. cant get anyfuther cuz of disconect and reset of mission.i must of tried to go through a mission like 20 times and same ♥♥♥♥ happend everytime.

You don't have to have the fastest, you just need something faster than what you have.

yea, I don't know what is good and what is not I'm out of touch with internet speeds. when i got this broadband it was good for its time. But now is not the case anymore.

Go to your provider's website and see what kind of deals they have at the moment. Post some of those numbers here and I'm sure someone can give you an idea of which may be sufficient for your gaming needs.
