I was planning in playing it for the first time but after reading this and other posts like it and watching the skill up review of the newest dlc, it doesnt seem to be worth it anymore ..
With all the content they removed which most of it was free ... unless you want to buy the damn dlcs i dont see any point for a new player to start playing this.
Correct. But there is also a lot for free. If you wanna play campaigns, continue with Forsaken and Shadowkeep, both DLC's are on sale.
No, because they removed the original campaign - which we paid for when this launched, so you know. You didn't lose anything like we did, you just didn't get it for free. Unfortunately everyone seem to forgot that we didn't get it for free and keeps parroting Bungie telling us they're vaulting "free" content, so...
...but like someone said, it's on Game Pass for Xbox and next year, when they launch full cross play, it'll also be on Game Pass for PC. So you'll be able to play it that way too.
