Got this from the gunsmith the other day and I'd like to increase the tier but can't. Weapon is currently tier 1, when I open details and hover over the tier 1 box another tier 1 box opens below the infuse box rather than a tier 2 box so I can't increase. Is this normal for this weapon or is it bugged? If it's not normal can I fix it?

Kind of, yeah. I had a masterworked Drang, but now, it's back to tier 1. How do I get my masterwork back without spending materials again?

I'm guessing you can't but honestly I don't know. I had both weapons at level 1 and neither could be worked any higher, they just sat in the vault gathering dust. I haven't done anything to the Drang since the fix, or whatever it is they did, but I've fully masterworked the mini tool and it's nuts, just ridiculously powerful. Seems whatever they did has reset your Drang and I'd guess you're probably not alone there and that sucks. If it's a weapon you used regularly I'd say take the hit and work it again, not what anyone wants to hear I know but if it's a favourite it's a favourite eh? Whatever you do consider a look at the mini tool, you might find it's worth it.
