Can someone explain to me why I cant infuse armor that WAS last patch 1060... I can upgrade everything except gear that was 1060... I don't get it, do I need to search for new armor now or there is a way to infuse ?

Yes, basically legendary items have an expiration date, it's called "sunsetting". They will last aprox one year. Any gear with a grey icon in your inventory has passed their expiration date.
Bungie created this system to keep players grinding without having to create new loot.

Weapons and armor that you get now are only good for 1 year after they come out. So guns from Season 9 to present are able to go higher than 1060.

What gear are you trying to infuse? Also this was stated in several posts in here, the sub and Bungie's website

If you look at all of those items, they specifically say over their current power level what their level cap is.

If the top left corner of the item is white, it's power capped.

lmao now I really have no interest in playing this game again. I literally wasted weeks grinding gear only to have them force another grind on my game. "Sun Setting" gear ffs...
