I've been monte carlo to regen melee ability + claws of ahamkara to stack 2 charges of melee ability on warlock. You can just run around freezing everything.
Weapons with demolitionist work well if you want to regen more grenades.
Thanks for the type. It's the nade that especially bother me because warlock nades is not that strong in PVE yet huge cooldown.
The first nade isn't very good. The duskfield grenade that you unlock later is much better IMO.
Keep an eye out for weapons with demolitionist if you want to reduce your grenade cooldown. Banshee-44 can drop gnawing hunger, which is a solid auto rifle that can come with demolitionist, when you trade tokens in with him.
As for PVE vs PVP balance - balance is still important in PVE. We have a world's first raid completion race coming up next week and it would kind of trivialise things if you could just infinitely freeze everything, lol.
The difference in cooldown makes sense IMO. You just have to focus your build around ability regen if you want to use the abilities more often. There are plenty of options.
I mean the wall in PVE is way less damages than other nades. (I only have wall for now)
