Play game with all content but Beyond Light

Hello,

I feel like coming back to the game but i can't afford "Beyond Light" atm. Does it make any sense to play the game without the latest DLC?

I don't have many hours into the game, bough Forsaken and Shadowkeep and played around 30hs before work and family took over me.

Appreciate any advice or opinion.

well most of the original content has been sunset (removed to be reworked and re-added at a later point again). If you have Forsaken and shadowkeep you still have some content to play on as well as Crucible/Gambit. I have not opened up the game since the update at this point myself personally.

I regretted buying Shadowkeep since only one of the season utilized the expansion really. I don't plan on buying Beyond Light, but I'm thinking a lot more of the seasonal content will be locked behind it.

That's my worry, the season pass used to give you a decent amount of content, this time around it's really looking like they are pushing both season pass and $50 small DLC.

Well, you convinced me not to reinstall the game and buy the "Beyond Light". I will keep looking for a new game to keep me occupied.

why did they want to remove it to work on it in the first place ??? they better not let expect more money from people

I'm not having a good time with it, it's also performing really badly for me now and I can't keep a steady 60fps like I could before which feels really bad in big encounters. Their isn't really anything to do on Europa and the level cap is real high, the public events seem the same as before as well.
