Cosmodrome from Destiny 1
When I started the game I saw Cosmodrome on Earth. I went there to see it once again. And my Lord, it brings so many memories...

I spent a lot of time there back when I only had Destiny 1 demo. Even after buying full game I was spending a lot of time doing patrols, public events and exploring. Back then you never knew when an event was going to be.

Most noticeable changes were of course different spawn location and new guy for bounties with the removal of crashed Ship we had to examine in starting missions of Destiny 1.

Also I think different grass colour ?

Well, I'm happy to see Cosmodrome again. Was it worth removal of Io, Titan, Mars and Mercury (I think, I dont remember) ?

Probably not, but what's done cannot be undone (at least for now I guess ?).

Welcome again Cosmodrome. Now excuse me, I'm going to explore it. I hear the call.

I don't think it really makes up for the vaulted content, but it is nice for those of us who played the first game. Personally, I would like to see other regions of Earth too.

One thing I dont get is they gave new Destiny 2 players the first mission from Destiny 1 to "more easily get into what is happening in Destiny 2", but to me it confuses them more than ever. They didnt even see the old Tower in the "glory" days of Destiny 1. Immediately Red War campaign, where you get are in the old Tower fighting against Legion...Sure, Khvostov is a cool gun, but the very first mission doesnt tell new players the situation and anything story related...beside that they died and were revived by a Ghost that tells you you are a Guardian and he's taking you to the home - Tower...later on fighting Legion in Destiny 2 campaign and losing whole City to them.

Say what ?

I suspect it's even worse now that the Red War and other legacy campaigns have been completely vaulted!

The map isn't complete yet. It will eventually be the full map from D1.

I never played D1. How much larger was D1 Cosmodrome?
