Forgive me if stupid question, but I just unlocked the Empire Hunt Difficulty.
As I am not good enough for 1280 I did tried the lower ones, but so far no drop.
Does anyone know on what principle the weapon drops or do you have incresed chance on higher difficulties or it is the same chance for any difficlties.

same rng rates on every difficulties

From what I remember it has an equal drop chance from all difficulties unless the word next to Cloudstrike changes from rare to uncommon or some other listed rarity.

I see, thanks! I was wondering if it is not how raids used to be (your chance increases after any attempt you did win the exotic)

I know someone has said it is the same on all difficulties. When I was chasing it I did countless 1250 attempts and nothing. I did one 1280 and BLAM got cloudstrike. So maybe it's not the same on all difficulties. IDK....

Thats just RNG man. I only run the 1280 for the weekly pinnacle, ran it 3 times every week since it came out and I've yet to see one. My friend has had 3 drop in that time lol. I ran the easiest version because I needed to finish a bounty yesterday and it dropped first run.

Difficulty does not matter, killing champions doesnt impact the drop chance either so easiest difficulty and just run through what you can for the most efficient runs.

Wow ok, I just got lucky I guess. I can honestly say thou it is a meaty sniper and the AOE is killer if you get 3 one shot kills. Problem is I don't use snipers for anything so it sits in my vault. If I could give it to someone else to use I would, because it is just an ornament to me.

i had to speed run 33 times just to get cloudstrike to drop. may luck forever be in your favor. its a good gun tho.
