Report a translation problem
The first thing you'll want to try is disabling depth of field, chromatic aberration and film grain. That should buy you another 10 FPS or so without degrading visual quality. I actually prefer the way that looks. The image is more crisp. If you still aren't happy with performance, drop it down to 1080p. That should bring you up to 80-140 FPS depending on where you are and what's going on. A bit less if you enable those settings again.
It's also worth noting that EDZ will give you pretty much the lowest frame rates out of all locations because of the foliage. Trostland is a good place to test settings out because it will never drop much lower than whatever you're getting there.
Fullscreen generally runs better than any of the windowed modes, but I wouldn't expect a drastic difference. Try 1080p again. That should definitely make a noticeable difference...
As far as if they will actually fix it, I still have doubts but they at least acknowledged it. The drop in performance was obviously unintended.
