My old character is still Power Level 156

I hoped on to see if the power level minimum cap had applied to my character but I am still power level 156 and have no quests that are appearing for me even though I went to the terminal to receive it.

Actually, from what I just saw, your other character (warlock) is actually 135, not 156.
You probably just need to log the warlock ingame and the game will auto pop you to 1050.

But, then again, you can always go to collections and grab the most basic gear you have there, be it white, green or blue, and it will come at 1050.
Go to Collections->Armor->Leveling->go to the last page, it's where the blues are, if none available, get back one page and choose :)
Do the same for guns.

Oh, it's the old damaged gear from the first mission... That stuff never got bumped up when Shadowkeep launched. If the character hasn't done anything, just delete it and make a new one. If you have played the character before, just equip literally any other gear.

I will check if I have any gear for that character in collections if not ill just delete and start new.

I need gunsmith materials rip. Im just going to keep just incase there is something really special on the character i dont know of.

If you don't have a single piece of gear that you can equip instead of the gear that you start the game with, I don't think you need to worry about losing anything...
