Quests gone from previous expansions.
So I'm a returning user who didn't even complete much of the content I got before. I'm super confused about a ton of stuff. So on my main character was around 150 power. I beat the Red War campaign. I went through most of Curse of Osiris. So this character should have quests to complete COO, and move onto Warmind, and Forsaken. (I own everything up to Penumbra.)

OK so one problem is that I'm no longer seeing any of my quests. IDK what I'm supposed to do. I was suddenly on the moon when I got on. But IDK what was going on there. So I sent him into space.

Also, I'm aware everybody got boosted to 1050. Although, I still don't understand the concept behind this. Would this not make him too powerful to do the campaigns? Alot of this is super confusing. (And it doesn't help that I lost my entire friend list, and no longer allowed to even add friends I had for a long time. As in, without having to pay extra.)

Thanks.

Well. I never read anything. Before the game migrated to Steam, I was already playing less due to school and such. Then when it migrated, I didn't even bother with it anymore. It was only around Thanksgiving that I was talking to a friend about it. And I got four of my other friends to join. So I got back into it, and was forced to transfer it to Steam because of that migration. Nobody told me anything about any of this.

So checking out your link now.

OK I read through both of your links. So what I'm gathering is stuff that I paid money for is not even available for me to play? These are all the things I bought:

Base game (Red War)
CoO
Warmind
Forsaken
Black Armory
Jokers Wild
Penumbra

So I can no longer play Red War, CoO, and Warmind?

EDIT: wtf? I started a new hunter, and I already have Way of the Wraith (spectral blades)? I get to keep this?

Yes, nor can you play the post-Forsaken seasons' content. All you can play out of this list now is the base Forsaken game.

Edit: Regarding spectral blades, all of the 3rd subclasses are automatically accessible if you own at least one of the 3 major expansions (Forsaken, Shadowkeep or Beyond Light)

They've been removed as they were old and became irrelevant. They weren't providing any content towards the endgame where you spend majority of the time.

Base game, CoO and Warmind were free to play with the release of New Light during Shadowkeep, Forsaken is still available to play but Black armory, Jokers wild and Penumbra are not.

Exotics that were available or had quest steps on destinations that were removed have been moved to an Exotic kiosk where you can buy them with Ascendant Shards, Exotic Ciphers and other materials. In case of Raid exotics, you require new raid currency that drops from completing raids.

The content that was removed is now considered to be Vaulted in the Destiny Content Vault where all current unavailable content is, including Destiny 1 content such as Vault of Glass, Crota's End, King's fall etc.

This content will come back in the future, revamped to fit the current story. We have gotten a Destiny 1 strike that involved Omnigul, which now focuses on Navota, a wizard froom the new New Light missions. We will also be getting the rest of Cosmodrome and 2 more strikes next season.

You can go to the quest thingy in the tower and get most of your abandoned quests from there. It has past quests and new quests. It is right next to the postmaster on her right. Good luck...
