Changing Gender, Race, Hairstyle, Colours ect

Has bungo announced anything about it? I wanted to swap my hunter to a male but havent been able to find any info about it, also wanted to change their race to awoken!

I've never heard of this even being thought about.

I'd love to be able to change the cosmetics of my character and find it odd they've never even added this to the silver store, let alone let players do it for free.

Well, you can bank all your gear and then delete and then recreate your character. It'll delete campaign progress for that character though (from what I understand). Never tried it myself, so I don't know all the details, just that it's possible.

I think Bungie would like to offer post-creation customization, but I guess there are some technical issues involved.

I hope they will. They changed the player models in the update, my awoken hunter now has a chiseled jaw which doesn't go with his emo look.

They said they are looking into a way to change your look ingame but didn't say anything beyond that.
