noob need help

when i first launched the game i was in some sort of a mission/intro and i quit the game, now when i launched the game i'm in orbit and i have no idea how do i resume where i was the first time? i've no idea what mission that was, i didn't do anything to start it..

I'm pretty sure it was at the cosmodrome. Just click on Earth and then click cosmodrome fly there and it should resume where you left off at.

there are multiple locations to go to, went to one of them and nothing resumed.. this game is disorienting af, complete waste of money..

Eh not really, go to the tower to see if there is any missions at the terminal and then see if the intro mission is there.

The destiny icon on Earth/Cosmodrom, the quest tab in your tabs menu, the quest archive in the tower. Yeah, don't tell me you see NOTHING. It is disorienting for a newbie, that's true. But the problem you describe would be a problem if there was nothing anywhere or hundreds of quests everywhere. I don't think you have hundreds of quests as a newbie and I don't think that you abandoned the quest.

there is 0 quests in my quests tab.. i looked around and couldn't resume where i left off..

Open map
Click the Tower in the middle.
Click down arrow on the middle area of the map.
Load in and see postmaster as a marker on your left.
go to postmaster.
look left in the little cubby.
Walk up to kiosk, Hold interact button.
Look for "new Light" quest or anything that says that.

Open destinations map, look for cosmodrome bottom of the map.
Click and map opens.
look for green icon of a person OR if you have the new light quest look for blue destiny icon.
Teleport to NPC, interact.
He should give you directions.

If going thru this does not start the quest in any fashion, open the map screenshot and post it here.

Story or progression quests will be in your quest tab. Hold tab and open director or hit M for Map and use the A keep to tab over to quests. Click a quest to make it activate on your hud. Any quest you pick up is automatically activated but you can PIN them so you can see them actively in any activity.
