Yes the game (Destiny 2) does recognise controller fine, all controls work.
Ive taken the default control scheme and added 2 custom buttons, but they dont always work
To get your ride out (sparrow) you need to press Back > X.
OR on Keyboard, Tab > E.
Alas this only occationaly works. Its like the game or a bug in Steams software is preventing it form working.
I dont doubt there are cheaters out there.
And I am using my controller.
So is there a correct way to use Steams Controller Configuration to successfully map a command to get the Sparrow up in one button press?
Or simular for the Bounties screen?
Or are you trying to say that because there are cheaters using other software to autoaim (which they are doing anyway) that everyone else cannot have quick access to keyboard shortcuts on the controller?
The steam config should override the game's settings anyway but if the in-game option is set to controller and some of the buttons you're using in steam config are setup as KB/M maybe that's creating the conflict.
Unfortunately I don't have an Elite so I'm just spit-balling a possible solution.
Also from what i understand less bullet auto aim is applied or removed altogether if im understanding the DevBlogs
