How to visit Mara's court?

I know I'm late to the party but...
just finished the weekly Gateway bounty and when using the artifact all I got was a chest, portal didn't open, yet received a Queen mission.

Also heard that Mara isn't there all the time.

I think u can only visit queens court when the curse is at its strongest

When the curse is at its strongest complete petra's bounties for the week by doing blind well. Tier 4 grants 50% progress. i recommend a fireteam, it is not easy. after you complete the bounty, claim it and get something called 'Offering to the Oracle' (like in the forsaken campaign) take it to where you spoke to Mara sov and you'll be able to enter

a small detail, you can't meet her anymore AT ALL, you only get to open a chest and get a hidden collectible. she was there and always had something to say back when it was the forsaken DLC era. she dissappeared soon after but with her brother uldren coming back this season, I think you can expect her to come back somehow

let's hope that happens! The achievement that you win if you meet mara at the court is still there on the list... crossing fingers.

You can still progress the triumph, you just don't get to actually talk to her. And in case there is confusion, Dreaming City is on a three-week cycle, where the "curse" (amount of taken goo around) goes weak-medium-strong-weak and so on. You can tell which week it is by loading into the city and looking at the big gate leading to the Well: no taken balls = weak, a few balls attached = medium, giant balls floating around = strong. Petra also moves each week, so if you remember her positions you can tell from orbit what week it is. For specifically strong week, you want her in the north area, not near spawn or in the far east.
