looking for fun builds
as title says im looking for fun/interesting builds to play around with and keep the game interesting as long as i can again as i come and go every few months it seems. i main titan and ive been running bottom tree solar warmind build since i was able to get the mods from ada last season. i also play on warlock from time to time but not nearly as often as my titan. as for exotics i have all the armor and world drop exotic weapons excluding this seasons new armor pieces and warlocks shadowkeep chest piece. im not looking to run these in late game master nightfalls, raid or pvp of any kind so survivability shouldnt really be much of an issue.

Path of the burning steps, solar energy weapon, font of might, well of life, explosive wellmaker and you have a build that's stupid fun to play. Always have abilities, you can easily solo things like altars of sorrow as well.

Ah yes let's not use the forum for what it was meant for. Bell end.

off the top of my head idk what any of those do aside from burning steps. ill have to wait till maint is over to check them out. also any recommendation for solar energy weap? the new seasons heavy assault rifle feels nice but still looking for a good roll. not to many non exotic solars are coming to mind for me atm.

Font of might: Gives you a weapon damage boost when you pick up an elemental weapon. (Weapon has to match your sub class so solar weapon for solar sub class, you get the idea).

Well of life: heals you constantly for 10 seconds when you pick up a solar well. Doubles down on the fact bottom tree heals on ability kill so creates one of the only tank builds in the game.

Explosive wellmaker: basically what you think it does. Makes solar wells from explosive kills. Your nade, your sun spots, sun shot, firefly etc. All will create solar elemental wells so it's your main source.

Honourable mentions would be melee well maker and elemental armaments but you only really need what I mentioned previously.

As for solar weapons. I've used Cartesian this season (fusion rifle). It's a world drop so I'd imagine you've seen it. A good vorpal roll can melt bosses if you use the artifact mod for fusions (partical deconstruction).

Igneous hammer is a solid handcannon, I have an overflow/one for all roll and with the burning steps it does some pretty silly damage. Arctic haze is another autorifle option, it can roll dragon fly and subsistence so it's a great add clear weapon (source for this is Europa if unaware). Death adder was added to the general world pool, was a prophecy weapon previously. Like the Arctic has, it can roll with dragonfly and sub, although this is an smg so if you prefer less range but ease of use then a solid option. Annual skate is basically a baby sunshot with the right roll, dragonfly, timed payload, some really good perks.

Exotic weapons, jotuun is a solid pick, I've mentioned sunshot already too which is pretty silly. Ticcus divination is really good also but has a slower play style because it's a bow.

I'm a hunter main personally but whenever I'm bored I throw the solar titan on because for me, it's the most enjoyable class in the game.

An insult for telling the truth? Cute.

Nah and insult for not being helpful in the slightest. Forums are meant for discussing the game, I know thats hard to remember with all the ♥♥♥♥ posts and rage posts you see but hey, you do you.

i quite enjoy side arms though sadly they dont scale great for endgame at least for me. though name doesnt ring a bell i probably have one in the vault if its not out of the loot pool or a pvp drop exclusive. light.gg is down doing some database transfer and d2 is down for maint so ill have to give it a bit to look it up. but that just reminded me of devils ruin. love that little thing. just wish theyd give it a catalyst.

If you're looking for a fun casual playlists build try this
-Doomfang Pauldrons with a solar mw (not sure if solar was the one with the mod that gave you melee energy if you damaged enemies with grenades if not it's arc), a helmet with arc mw and use double hands-on mod, and run bottom tree sentinel, all you have to do is hit a bunch of enemies with the shield bash and you'll get 1/3 of your super, if you don't have more melee you can always just punch them since the B-tree sentinel passive and hands-on still work if you're surrounded and you get normal melee kills

-Insurmountable Skullfort and pretty much use the same mods as above but with middle tree arc, throw yourself at a couple of enemies and if you kill them you'll get your melee back and almost the same ammount of super, or you can also use Severance enclosure and blow up enemies with your melee's using the same build but with bottom tree arc

There are a few more builds that i know of but Destiny is on maintenance and i can't even check dim :cozyrealmroyale:
