(Uncommon) vs (Rare)

So the game seems to act as if Uncommon is a step above Rare.

So why is it in like, 8 Hero runs of the Ordeal, I've gotten 3 Enhancement Prisms, listed as a Rare drop... and 1 exotic, listed as a Common drop?

Over 100 hours played and I have had ONE exotic drop.

You just have really bad rng. Its like saying you have a 25% drop chance of something but you wont get it after 4 times. Its really all about your luck.

Nightfall Ordeal drops are also affected by your final score (100k points and higher) as well as killing all the champions (Barrier, Unstoppable. Overload) that are part of that week's level. At the end of your run you'll see a message of achieving either "Silver", "Gold" or "Platinum" level. Platinum level means you killed all the available champions during the run. Depending on the Nightfall Ordeal, you may only be able to achieve the higher score threshold at power level 1050+. Also, if you take too long during the Nightfall Ordeal, you'll start to also lose points.

It's pretty hard to not kill all the Champions in the Arcology, they pretty much all block your way, so unless you make an active effort to run past them, you're going to kill them all. I haven't had a run yet, that I know of, where I didn't at least get Enhancement cores, so I'm getting loot. It's just not Exotics.

I also couldn't help but notice that, in the first like, 3 runs, I got a TON of legendary drops, including Prime Engrams. Yet, after I got that exotic... I haven't gotten a single legendary in the 8+ runs since that I remember.

Does... getting an exotic shut down your loot for a while or something?

No, but there is a limit on how many prime engrams you can get. When you lose the "prime attunement" buff, you won't get any more prime engram drops until reset.

I would recommend just farming the GM Lake of Shadows rn, tons of shards, prisms and exotics and also takes only 12-20 min

The higher level ordeal you do the better chance you have of getting an exotic.
