Prophecy Loot - pls explain

Ive been a Warlock main so far but i want to switch to Titan, so i thought i'd get some good armor in Prophecy, but im not getting much armor. How exactly does Loot drop?
1) Do the Chests after each encounter drop Moonfang armor? The Coda armor drops from them (although ive only gotten 1 piece so far)
2) What Moonfang armor is the boss dropping? So far ive gotten 10 class items, do i need to unlock the other pieces somehow so i can get them from the boss?

Moonfang armor only drops from the chests if you've previously collected it. The secret chests will only drop items you've already collected too.

Killing the Kell Echo boss should drop any Moonfang armor piece you haven't collected yet. After that I believe it's just random.

But 10 class item cant be just Rng, right? Or does it only unlock new armor with the weekly Pinnacle for example?

I believe only the first run on each character each week counts. All other runs that week will give duplicates, and if you only have one item...
