I prefer Snapshot, honestly. I like being able to scope in fast.
Rapid hit/triple tap significantly increases DPS for PVE. Snapshot is more of a PVP perk and I'd go with another sniper over long shadow for PVP.
more ammo means more deeps, and the reload is effectively the same as RH
That isn't how DPS works. Faster reload = more DPS. More ammo reserves = more total damage, which is significantly less important than DPS.

Requires crouching, which hinders movement and, I haven't actually compared them since the reload perks were nerfed but, I thought rapid hit was still a bit faster.
Yeah, but you want to make sure that you're reloading as fast possible and it's kinda clunky. Would rather just get the reload speed boost from hitting crits. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
