PVP as a low level player
OK I don't make any attempt to be anything other than low rank at PVP

right now there is ZERO incentive to play if you are even slightly poor at PVP.

When you are consistently the worst player on every team you play in, what reason is there to keep playing, to try and improve you say.

Well how is that possible when you are always playing against people not even close to your level, perhaps 3,4,5 times better than you.

I really do struggle to understand the reasoning behind making the best players be able to play against the very worst, you can literally be killed 15 times by the same guy in this current mode. You can die, respawn and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knows where you are spawning and kills you again, how is that far or reasonable in any game?

it is honestly laughable that the imbalance has been actually worsened, not made closer, instead of having half a clip to start with i now have nothing, not even a round.

I have to admit I don't really give a damn, PVP is long gone for me these days, I ONLY go there for seals or quests, any PVP exotics are long since deleted, but trying to get the odd thing you need to pass a Seal or something is honestly the most ballachingly depressing thing i have ever seen in any game in a very long time.

EVERYBODY SWEATS, you all run around full of self importance thinking you are so great, it is very funny. Yet there are those of us that try and help, try and capture, yet you are constantly beaten down by ridiculous players who you should never even be in the same game as. its very sad, depressing, boring, and hugely offputting.

I have to get 10 wins in this woeful, hideous, depressing game mode to get a seal and that means I will probably have to play 25 games of this Godawful rubbish. As nothing I do will ever contribute to a win.

What kind of developer forces, literally forces players to do stuff they have no interest in to be able to pass a seal or something that is 98% PVE. It's truly nasty and spiteful that is the only word you can use.

You could always just not do the quest if you hate it that much. There really aren't many weapons that are useful in PVE and require you to play PVP.

A lot of us started low. We became good. Some of us became the best. And some of us go EVEN FURTHER BEYOND and realise people have patterns just like higher end PvE bosses. A lot of people only learn one pattern instead of many to switch from, become predictable, boring...

People are so predictable that I read your title and knew the thread. "Adapt or die."

In my opinion, PVP in Destiny gets a lot more enjoyable the better you are (which is the same as pointing out it gets a lot worse the worse you are, as you did).

It has been like this for quite a while and is certainly not going to change before Beyond Light.
Therefore, I would advice you to stay away from PvP at your current level.

The state of Destiny PvP has been discussed very often.
If you are interested, hit some of the elder threads.

That is very true, except that still leaves aiming. If you can't aim for ♥♥♥♥, nothing will help you.

It definitely gets worse if you are worse. Before I moved to PC, I used to have a 0.3kd. I then put in the work to get gud and now get anywhere between 1.0-8.0 kd.
TDLR: Get gud is real

there's a lot of great, viable weapons that players of any level can attain and farm for god rolls outside of PVP pinnacles. Beloved, arguably the best sniper currently, comes from the trivially easy menagerie; Gnawing Hunger one of the strongest autos in pvp and pve, can easily be farmed for through umbrals, as can great shotguns like First in, Last out and the Seventh Seraph CQC; Mindbenders is currently availabe from the Travellers Chosen quest; Spare Rations farmed for in Reckoning; Dire Promise, the in-meta handcannon, is a world drop, can be attained from Banshee or Master Rahool, in the heavy slot, there are things like Hammerhead, easily available from Forges, even Bad Omens isn't a bad choice and can roll cluster bomb and tracking, and this isn't even including exotics that can be gained from world drops or Xur, like Vigilance Wing, Hard Light, Suros Regime.

If you're intent on playing PVP, there's no reasonable excuse for not having a decent weapon loadout

PvP sucks due the the P2P set up i cant counter the amount of times i have broken line of sight an still got killed like the other player is bending bullets like its the movie Wanted, but just keep grinding out the quests an you will get them done.

Honestly, I will never be pro because of my age, I was really Amazing at Halo 3, I was pro level at Reach and competed in tournements for cash, and national tournements in Halo 4.

However, what is Pro for Destiny? Tournements with 5 K caps?

You can make more money playing Pokemon professionally, SMH.

So the long and the short of it is, Stop caring.

Stop wanting to win, it doesn't matter

Stop caring you lost, it doesn't matter

If you are playing competitive, don't, exit out, because... it doesn't matter.

No matter how good you are in Destiny PVP, it will not be the next Fortnite, COD, Halo, it was not designed that way. Enjoy it for it's silliness, and move on.

I agree with rob_every05 .....Also you need to know there are people cheating and they will kill you instantly lol

Last time I checked Destiny Tracker it was me (A bronze) in a team with mostly bronzes versus 2 Diamonds. Needless to say this was a negative experience. And btw, even if you have the best KDA you can still be low rank, because the game just forces you into 50% w/r or even worse if you get paired versus clans that are gold and above.

Also I am surprised that a game so flawed in PvP have tournaments. That's quite surpsing for me.

PVP is trash and seals are pointless so stop forcing yourself to play it.

Seals are pretty cute actually.
A Dutchman should know that.

I suck at PVP, but I want Ace of Spades, Thorn, and Last Word. So I suck it up and get it done
