Silver refund?
Hi, so I decided to buy 1100 silver. However, Steam had an error, and supposedly the purchase didn't go through. I looked at my bank account and D2 silver balance, and nothing had changed. So, I tried again. This time, it worked. However, after around 5 seconds, my bank account and D2 refreshed, and apparently, I had bought the silver twice. Maybe the first purchase had gone through after all. Question is, I didn't mean to buy this much silver. Is there a way to refund it? I have only spend 800 of it.
Thank you

Edit ~ Thanks for the answers, I'll be more careful in the future I guess

Silver is non-refundable.

You might be able to contact your card provider and ask them remove the extra charge.

You can try making a ticket to steam support but i doubt they being able to do something for you since silver can't be refunded.. But then again, you never win if you never try.

This is the exact reason that we're always told to wait a bit to make sure if the purchase went through or not. Best to take it on the chin & move on mate

Haha! I actually learned about this the same way, man. Mine was with the $20 pack though lol. You know what they say, experience is the best teacher.

This is the Steam policy. However, Steam as a retailer is subject to federal law. There are few countries that have policies regarding digital goods (especially currencies) s.t. those can be rightfully returned within a certain period of time as long as they have not been consumed.

Bear in mind that this is only the legal perspective.
In reality, there are many occasions where you'd have to sue to assert your rights.
