Graviton lance useless now?

even tho this gun looks nice should i just scrap it and the catalyst i have with it ....there isnt a punishment for scraping an exotic gun with an un-finished cataylist right?

I have more than 1500h of pvp only in steam, I only play the pulse in the crucible. Then the guys see that the graviton is bad. The desire to punch one. lol

Outbreak perfected is better as an exotic primary pusle rifle. The only place where graviton can shine is in momentum control (Even tho, there are still better options for that mode) unless you're a godlike pvp player like frostbolt/SirD/Panduh.

However, it does have one of the best ornaments in the entire game (Carina Nebula).

If you truly want a good primary pulse rifle, than simply stick with cold denial (Or redrix if you have that even tho cold denial is better imo).

Thunderlord is more my route. .even if the gun is literally riskrunner combined with sweet business combined with a machine gun like hammer head

RPM and gimmick. Saying a pulse can 2-3 burst isnt anything special, any 340R or 450 can and it keeps your exotic slot free, Redrix, Cold Denial, Eystein-D, Blast Furnace, Sacred Provenance, Vigilance Wing all better options.

It's mainly because cold denial offers more damage per shot than graviton lance overall, compared to the low damage from the first hit and the higher damage from the second one.

The thing with vigilance is that when you miss a burst, you will get outgunned by any 600 RPM auto rifle.

Yes but as with most Pulses you should be operating outside the AR Meta range. Ranged damage is their only benefit in that situation.

That's why alot of maps you just can't reliably use anything but a AR or Shotty. The imbalance of D2's weapons have alot do do with map size IMO. There is no middle ground.

It's alright. It was better back when pulses were meta but as long as the stupid champion system is around, exotic primaries are pretty much jokes in endgame content even with exotic pulses having an edge with that unstoppable arms mod. In pvp they're mostly outdone by ARs.

mediocore for PVP, it preety much has infinite range as long as you hit your black hole shot but it still has a 1second TTK, vig wing is much more enjoyable then graviton. Its really fun in PVE tough, adclearing machin.
