Destiny 2 Can't move (WASD) Please help.

So, I downloaded Destiny 2 and was looking forward to playing it.

Once I enter the game I can move fine (i.e. aiming with my mouse changing weapons, and shooting).

But I'm unable to walk/move.
I can't even press Escape to enter settings to see if I can change anything there that may be related.

Any input or suggestions would be appreciated a lot. Thanks in advance to whoever replies.

Nope. not using any controller. Would like to pay with mouse and keyboard. :/

Not asking if you're using a controller. I was asking if you had one plugged in as sometimes keyboard movement locks up on me if I have one plugged in

Try plugging one in to check your settings

I know you unplugged the keyboard, probably USB, and plugged it back in, then rebooted so I won't even suggest it, especially if the keyboard is working in other programs.

If I recall, you should be able use a mouse to click on any field on the start screens like "Press enter" of "F1 Menu" to get to Settings.

Also, if that doesn't work, there is a file in the settings directory with a .cvr ending - or something close. That caused my lockup. I looked on the historical help topics for a solution, found it, deleted the correct file and got back running. It happened twice. Your avatar just locks up. The game creates a new file when it starts back up. Look for the help topic to get the right file.

I just unplugged my keyboard (USB) and plugged it into a different USB port.
It works fine now. Which is weird because I had no issue with the keyboard previously, but now it seems to be fixed,

Now I just have to get my head around how to actually play the game lol. It seems enjoyable, but a bit confusing at first.
