solstice armor event isnt really a free event

so, im about to complete my solstice armor. but surprise!!!! i need shadowkeep to complete the armor.
worst part is this event was a "free" one and now they add a paywall to complete the arnor.

nah ur completely right, you definitely didnt ignore the dungeon, the raid, the exotics, the lectern weapons, the campaign and all other things that come with shadowkeep so that you can feed your retarded nonsensical argument. its a free game with paid content, if you expect everything in every game to be free then idk what to tell you other than learn a bit more about how the world works before writing total garbage on the steam forums

i lmao at these topics. i dont remember last weeks nightfall but next week or the week after could be a base game one. aka you can still get the entirety of this event for free. you can complain about this week sure idc. youll have a chance to complete it next week. sucks but it is what it is. also the additional content from shadowkeep is great besides having no campaign. not forsaken great, no where close, but if you even remotely play destiny 2 youre kinda missing out imo. assuming you own forsaken that is and not shadowkeep.

You can get the other glows from the store for bright dust, but looks like you'll need to get 3 characters and hope you have bright dust saved to actually afford it though lmao. It all requires non matchmaking stuff too, besides maybe two, so I'm not bothering with it. Not sure if I can even get enough bright dust to get the glow stuff, sure as hell aint paying 15 dollars for that.

It's going to be really interesting to see what happens in a few months when (almost) all the current free stuff is gone. I"m not sure the game will even be F2P then?

Someone failed to notice Nightmare Hunts and Pit of Heresy are both Shadowkeep locked so you can never, ever finish the event as F2P.

It's a little silly though to have 3 sets of "paid glows" AND have the basic "earnable" white glow be DLC-locked... at least the white glow should've been per-piece so us noobies can walk around in white shoes or whatever.

It used to be more expensive tho. Now you can just buy 1 glow set for 6k bright dust per character, instead of buying 3 seperate ones per character.

Bungie shouldn't of marketed the event as a free event if it required a previous purchase to earn everything for it.
