Why in the hell is Prophecy so hard?

So I finally got around to doing it. I need to do it for the Savathun's Eyes. I did fine all the way up until the first boss. I got to a damage phase and did about half of his health before he became immune again and I died. I'm a 1067 Hunter. I get this is a dungeon, but why does it have to be this hard? I have to solo it, I refuse to talk to anyone on LFG.

Edit: I decided to give up. It's not worth it for the eyes I need for a stupid Title that everyone will have. I'm sure next season will have a title as well that I can go after.

Edit 2: I decided to bite the bullet and join the LFG discord. I'm waiting for people to join me right now!

Because Dungeons are meant to be run with a fireteam. Soloing it or going flawless or both in one run are just an extra challenge with a reward as a Emblem if you do both at the same time.

Prophecy is hard to you because you're trying to solo it. It was made with three people in mind. Yes it is entirely possible to solo it, and there's even a special emblem for doing it solo flawless. That doesn't mean that you should solo the dungeon unless you have really really good knowledge of the dungeon and optimal gear for it. In a full squad, Prophecy is not hard at all.

Because dungeons are hard. Get to at least 1070 before attempting it, you need all the survivability you can get.On top, its created for fireteam, and is meant to be hard for solo, with a separate reward for it as well.
Or just go lfg, you dont need mic for it, there're bunch of people just teaming up, without mic or any sort of communication and doing it easy.

Dungeons are not hard. Both POH (which I have flawless, can do any day) and Throne are easily soloable, Throne just have annoying endboss, but there are methods to beat (cheese) him. POH final boss is a joke and whole dungeon can be cheesed.

Prophecy isn't hard but final boss, and especially last checkpoint is just cheap. You need completely different loadout for damage phase, but you can't swap...

The dungeon scales from 1040 - 1060 with each encounter. So pretty much 1060 is good but an LFG would be so down to help.

No, i just came back to the game, the last time i played it properly was was launch till Warmind, then i got Forsaken and just played the campaign and left it. Back when i played it properly you had to use some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ outside of game fireteam finder thing. I know they've added chat since but i've been back two or three days now and have yet to see a single person say anything in local chat.
