Only purchasable if legendary solstice of heroes armor has already been acquired.
I'm not gonna lie, thought i could buy the skin after reading from the last patch notes that it would be purchasable as ornaments and it is but I was not expecting to go grind for it to then buy it with real life cash or my bright dust....

So when I was doing Crucible and Gambit matches/kills for a Titan, I was also making sure I was getting the necessary amount of Crucible/Gambit Void orbs so I didn't have to come back and replay them for more.

you said you read about it? well clearly you didnt at all...
weekly bungie posts have stated you had to reach majestic first and then use either silver or bright engram to buy it as a ornament...

IF you could just buy the set as ornament without anything, then they wouldnt even had to add the event for it..

Just saying man, never been able to grind for the solstice event for the past years as I couldn't get the time to and thought oh hey Bungie look like their adding the armour to the eververse store this year! I am trying to see how far I can get again for this year, sorry if this is aggressive. Thank you for your time.

You only need to do the first tier of upgrades, get the blue set to the 'Majestic' legendary level. You can get the ornaments right after that.
You don't need to complete the subsequent, considerably grindier set of objectives to reach 'Magnificent' level which is the second legendary set.

I know it's dependant on how much free time people have, but many, many people have already hit that Majestic level today, including me. It could easily be done over a week in small portions if that's as far as you wanted to take it.
