Error Code Broccoli
I have scoured the Internet, forums and also r/DestinyTechSupport (I’m posting this here because my attempts are deleted on r/destiny2) for solutions to this damn broccoli error yet nothing fixes it. I experienced it today after 2 hours of game time and now it happens every time I attempt to load into the tower. I’ve updated countless drivers on my PC, activated DeBug mode on my Geforce Dashboard, turned off over clocking (although it was never on) uninstalled/reinstalled on to a different SSD and HDD, converted to every religion on the planet and still nothing fixes the error.

Am I alone with this? Are Bungie actively aware of the issue and doing something about it?

If anyone has solutions that worked for them please don’t hesitate to post them...unless its the Task Manager changing priority thing...stick that on a shovel and fling it like cat ♥♥♥♥ out of your garden.

I don't want to have to revert to past Nvidia drivers...

Same thing...I don't know what to do now. Everything worked fine before move to steam. At least for me.

Try turning it off and back on...

How old is your GPU? I got a GTX 980Ti and getting these pretty regularly, not just this game though.

Check your Temps, I was running hot and thought that was the problem. Cleaned my card and applied new thermal paste to it, even though it runs cooler now I still get the errors.

I just got a feeling my card is slowly dying.

You can try and verify steam files if you havent found a solution yet, good luck

Bungie doesn't like your graphics card. You must understand that when playing on the PC you need to buy a new video card every year so that the developer receives sponsorship contracts. Buy a new graphics card - make Bungie happy.

Or re-install windows on your SSD drive and then play for an hour rather stabilly....?

Reinstalling Windows seems to have worked a treat.

It makes no sense to reinstall something. The error appears due to the fact that the frequencies of your video card differ from the reference frequencies. Support offers the following solutions:
1. buy a new graphics card
2. reduce the frequency of the memory of your video card by 100 Mhz (Msi Afterburner)
3. try to enable debug mode Nvidia (control Panel-Help-Debug mode)

But the problem is not your video card, the problem is Bungie.

Same Problem. My graphic card also is 1080ti. Yesterday, the crash happened very frequently. When I land on the planet, It will report crash within 2~3 minutes. Sad:steamfacepalm:

Update:

So I've been updating my sub reddit post over at https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTechSupport/comments/dg8xk5/error_code_broccoli/
and it came down to me needed to remove, clean and replace my RAM sticks. Fixed the issue completely HOWEVER I tried streaming Destiny 2 yesterday via SLOBS and came into the same error code. Playing without streaming it is fine still.

I've reverted to previous nvidia drivers to no success. The majority of us getting broccoli'd seem to be nvidia users though, so here's hoping for a permanent fix for this crap

Driver booster detected 19 drivers to be updated. Updated and again the broccoli error.
Following advise of my pc shop.....next step is removing display drivers....and install other version. Im not very optimism.

I think it must be a fixed post in the first page of the forum!!!! Problem happens since we are in steam!!!! STEAM SHOULD DO SOMETHING ALSO....AND BUNGIE OF COURSE (sent some twitter to bungie@help to cozmo etc....and no one replies....)

I am about to take my GPU out and clean it as well as the connectors. Just tried streaming again and my GPU keeps crashing. WTF has this game done to my damn graphics card. Everything was perfectly fine before I installed it
