Raid-etiquette
Does this game have any strict etiquette rules for raiding?

Don't be a dumbass
Don't die
Help your teammates whenever possible
Don't die
Kill everything
Don't die

That's basically it, from what I can tell.

Do load out matters in terms of elemental damage?

Be up front about not knowing what to do.

A lot of groups just want to get int, get their loot and get out. Taking on newer players can extend a raid considerably, so it's better to communicate that you'll need to be told what to do first, rather than keep it as an unpleasant surprise for later and risk people getting frustrated.

There are plenty of groups that will be willing to teach people how to do raids, just make sure you check in advance.

The elemental damage type usually isn't important, but the rest of your loadout is. What you should be using really depends on the raid and the strategy that your group has chosen to run with though.

Pretty good summary here. One this that isn't included that I ran into a lot with newer players. If you don't know what to do, please for the love of god ask. I would rather explain it and walk you through it than you trying to bull**** your way through. Alot of people are willing to help the new players and it will save everyones time if you just ask for help.

If youre using voice activation for your mic make sure your set up is on point and you have no background noise. Theres nothing worse then listening to someone breath or having to listen to family/friends in the background
