Umbral Decorder not letting me decode engrams?

I did the quest a few days go unlock the umbral decoder through the drifter, I even decoded a batch on not only that character but another one. Now whenever I go the decoder it tells me "Sorry, there are no items available." I have 9/10 engrams ATM. I even tried again on the character I did the quest on and despite have 3/10 engrams the decoder isn't showing anything.

How was I able to unlock umbral engrams the other day and now I cannot?

Have you tried focusing one of the umbral engrams? it may be quest related or you have to talk to someone in the tower

Might be a bug on your end, have you tried relaunching?

I have restarted several times. No change.

At L34 you can start using the other machine to focus an umbral engram, the Prismatic Recaster . Once you get this quest\access, you can not use the umbral decoder to unlock any umbral engrams, until you use the Prismatic Recaster once, to focus one of the engrams.

Then both machines should work like normal again
