At which point is worth to masterwork weapons/armors?
I am at 1027 right now and the gear drip is still fairly steady, to the point that i’m too hesitant to masterwork anything. Yes i know i can upgrade with the cubes but those have become exceedingly rare or at the very least require quite a bit of side grind. So ... at which point does one invest into masterworks?

if you get a godroll of a weapon that you really like it's worth a masterwork, for the armor it depends on yout build, most of the times you'll want 60+ stats in total, and if they have a high intellect/recovery/discipline/mobility depending on your playsyle and build

Generally, I only masterwork weapons on a god roll. Armor seems way more transitory, with all the different stat rolls you might find with your next piece. Also, I think it's way more expensive to masterwork armor, compared to weapons.

i'd say the same as Guars™ = the items you like the most .

and of course the guns are easier to be 'liked' :))
Weapon You use the most, if hey have good masterwork bonus for their type.
Range or reload speed on assault rifles as example.
Armor anything that drops with base 60+ stats and suits Your playstyle.
Examplary if You care about mobility. You want a drop with 20+mobility and other stats wich would add to total of 60 or more points.

I basically only masterwork armor that has exactly the stats I want on it, because Ascendant Shards are pricy (or require high level NF: Ordeal farming) so I try to use them sparingly.

Weapons only require 17 Enhancement Cores, and that's if it starts at rank 1. That's cheap enough that I tend to masterwork any weapon with a good roll that I enjoy using.

the most recent weapon i masterworked was from earlier today. i use it all the time in gambit and i love it. it's a god roll distant tumulus. i suggest that you should masterwork weapons that you use often and like, and that you are willing to spend upgrade modules on to infuse it to higher power. i am currently only at 1040 and i think it was worth it. hope this helps :)

tbh you may consider not bothering until Beyond Light, save your resources for whatever system(s) bungle changes with armor and currency so you don't lose as much when you gotta bin all that gear.

I play this game like once a year when i got nothing else. I dont do any non matchmaking content so once i hit the pinnacle(or whatever is the equivalent) grind, i am usually out. It will be a long time before i see beyond light.
